East Cobb 16U teams reach new heights at the Colorado Fireworks tournament
Both teams finished in the Top 5 out of 60 teams with the Cobras finishing 2nd and the Bullets finishing 5th, Unfortunately, one of the losses for the Bullets was to the Cobras.
The Cobras lost the championship game 1-0 on a HR in the bottom of the 6th
to the So Cal Firecrackers, and then won the next game to get back to
having to win two straight over the Firecrackers.
The Cobras got beat in the finals by the So. Cal Firecrackers after a
great run.The
Bullets
went 12-2 for the whole week, and lost to the Cobras and the Florida
team at the end. They were the highest finishing young 16U team by
far.
Congratulations to the EC Bullets-Johnson /12U team

Congratulations to the EC Bullets-Gibbs /14U team
On their way to the 2009 Hall of Fame Tournament!
When one looks in the dictionary, the word Legacy is a synonym for "heritage", tradition", & "foundation". Various definitions include "anything handed down from the past..." and "something that is passed from one generation to another..."
With that in mind, East Cobb Fastpitch is proud to announce our first ever Legacy Players Day. On March 28th, collegiate players who wore the navy & orange as EC Bullets will return to East Cobb to hold an intensive one day college skills camp for the current generation of EC players. Our Legacy list of players will include pitchers, catchers, infielders, outfielders, power hitters, and slappers. These former Bullets will not only instruct our current players on the finer skills of the game, but they will be on hand to discuss all aspects of recruiting, academics, and college life.
We will begin our day at 10:00 at Lassiter High School in the auditorium. Coach Schnute will MC a panel-type discussion with the Legacy players about their East Cobb days, the recruiting process, and the life of the college athlete. All EC players and their families are invited to attend. Once we conclude the discussion, we will move to the field for an outstanding day of instruction.
